Thank you. I decided to go with B&W as the orange safety stickers were too distracting. :)

Black and white is perfect for this - it brings out the forms in a very lovely way. Very well composed, too.

Thank you. B&W usually works well with industrial shots, yet I tried not to overdo it (i.e. avoiding the excessive contrast and softening the image slightly).

Nice capture. The black and white adds to the train's personality. I love the angle here, ,it really focuses the eye on the the place where the cars change shapes.

Thank you. The picture was taken on a bright sunny day, which did not quite match the mood of the industrial scenery (not to mention the bright orange safety markers). I softened the image slightly, cleaned up some trash near the tracks and converted to B&W, which seems to work nice (or at least better than the original image I took).

Nice! I love that you put that much work into the set up. That gives a personal depth to the photo.

Great use of focus and line for this image. I like how the cars and railway effectively "lead" the picture across. This gives the shot some character. I guess this also combines with the way the cars align with the trees as well.
Overall, brilliant capture :)

Thank you. I was trying to create an impression of an industrial scene without the usual tricks such as high contrast and "grungy" color tones. I had to convert to B&W because the original was somewhat overexposed and also the yellow safety markers were distracting. The lack of foliage on the trees kind of helped in creating a lifeless desolate picture.

Yeah it really did work better than I can imagine colour would. I thought that as one of the main points that made this picture symbolise the whole "industrial" theme.
